Wi-Fi

Well, we have to “keep up with the Jones”. So we have decided that, although we are very limited in seating at Bubby 1 in Cook Street Village, we will offer free wi-fi.

Hopefully, customers using their computers (and have finished eating and drinking) will not be offended when/if we must ask them to vacate a seat or table for someone who wants to sit and eat.

Look for it to be available outside the Bakery, at the outdoor tables, as well. The setup should be completed this Monday, March 30, 2009.

    A cafe is a meeting place – not an exclusion place… nor is it a work place… why not stand up to convention and assert your funky groove. People with laptops and their internet thing should go to starbucks where the coffee and company does not matter.
    Bubby’s is for friends and people watching – not updating your facebook or twittering…

    I have to agree. Except that, as we have been inundated with places offering wireless AND lots of seating, we feel that is important to compete on this level.

    We will never have enough seating, but at least we may attract a few more people back.
