The Season
With Hannukah tomorrow (tonight is the lighting of the first Menorah candle) and Christmas coming, we drive ourselves nuts producing a variety of products on top of the “usual”:
Rugelah, Honey Cake, Stollen, Fruit Cake, Rum Balls, Shortbread, and other festive goodies.
It’s particularly delightful to pass out samples at this time of year. People are so effusive with their joy in our efforts. Tonight I was giving out playful tastes of Hot Chocolate with Amaretto or Chartreuse (not available for sale – I wouldn’t want to cross the legal boundaries or anything like that)!
